I am Haakon S. Krohn, linguistics lecturer at the University of Costa Rica. I am also a researcher at Instituto de Investigaciones Lingüísticas at the same university.

At the same time, I am a PhD student in the Linguistics, Literature and Translation programme at the Universidad de Málaga, where I analyze the phonetics of Costa Rican Spanish.

My research focuses on phonetics, phonology, morphosyntax, semantics and lexicography, both in the Chibchan languages of Costa Rica and in Spanish.

Moreover, I do some programming and web design in my spare time.
